crystal part seven
Later that day, my parents finally woke up. Mom chatting on her blackberry and Dad on the computer. I simply sat there on the couch, bored. Maybe going to the beach during the day wont hurt, well at least not like last night. I slightly shivered at the thought, but I was just that bored, I decided to go anyway.
"Mom, I'm going to the beach, okay?" I saidalready startting ti walk put the door.
"Okay." she answerd back still with her eyes on the blackberry.
My flipflops being pushed in the hot sand as I walk on the beach. My eyes fixed on the clear waves crashing on the shore. I see a couple of people surfing in the distance as I keep on walking, and another person, about my age, a little closer than the rest had fallen prety badly; head first. After a couple of secons he still wouldn't come out. I started to run as fast as I could making the hot wind blow in my face. I got closer and I could finally see the top of his head as he aproched from the water. AAs he came slowly came out of the water, well for me it was slowly, I could see the sun's light making his wet dark-blond hair shine. He started to walk out the water and his eyes got locked in mine. Solid dark-blue eyes glisening towards me and I could promis you he had smiled at me. I'm frozen, and I don't know what to do while he comes towards me with his surf bored in his muscular arms. He's now infront of me, and places his bored next to him with thhe bottom tip dug into the sand.
"Hey there." those two words come out of his fine thin lips with a soothing voice the blended in with the sound of the waves now getting softer.
The only thing that came out of my lips was,"He... l," I couldn't even finish the one word "hello".
He slightly laughed and then spoke,"What's you name?" did he just ask me what my name was?
I took a deep breath to try to speek clearly this time,"Susan,"
"That's a beautiful name. I'm Derek, so are you new here?"
"Yeah, I just moved here yeasterday."
He slightly nodded and then spoke again,"Hey want to surf a little?"
"I don't know how to surf..."
"Don't worry, I'll teach you."
Derek and I go in the cold water and I dind't care really if I wet my clothes because I had a bathing suit underneath. He showd me the steps of standing on the board and which waves are good to go on. We stayed in the water for a litle while, until the sun started to set and he said he had to go home, so did I.
"Susan, why don't I walk you home?" he suggested.
"Sure, why not?" I gladly answerd back.
As we started to walk home, it was quiet at first, but then he started to talk. "So, is there a spasific reason why you moved here?"
"Not really, but I'm pretty sure it's because my parents got tired of the weather. I'm really not that sure," I answerd and then continued, "Have you lived here for a long time?"
"Yeah, probably for like my whole life," he started again," What do your parents work for?"
"Well my mom is an architect and my dad's a docter. What about your parents?"
"My dad is a coach at my school and my mom's also a docter, nero surgen." I was surprised at the word nero surgen.
"Relly, that so amazin!"
"Yeah, both our parents will probably work at the same place." he mentiond with a small smile, "won't that be so cool!" he exclamed.
"Yeah!"
We kept on walking silently, and I noticed he just looked at me with those amazing eyes. The reflection of the moon coming up and the sun going down shined on his beautiful eyes, but I couldn't tell that I was also looking at him the same way he did, and that we had suddenly stopped walking; just standing there, looking at each other, but then I interupted the perfect momment.
"Um... well, this is my house." I said nervusly and pointing at my house.
"Hey look at that, you live right next to me!" he exclmed pointing at the house that was surprisingly bigger than mine, "well, see you later."

crystal part six
Placed the crystal on my night desk next to the bed when it stopped shinning, and opened the first drawer. There was five different colors of plastic, transparent strings: blue, lime-green, purple, red, pink and white. Perfect, just what I needed. I took out the three matching strings, and decided i was going to braid them together, so the necklace could look better.
When I finished braiding all three strings, and tied it around the crystal, and wrapped it around my neck. I really wanted to see how or looked on me, so I took a hand mirror out of the same drawer, and glanced at the reflection. It looked great, but one thing bugged me on that almost perfect reflection; that painful cut over my eyebrow about as long as the tip of my thumb, and stitched pretty well though, but I still hated it.
My eyes moved away from my face and on to the beautiful crystal. What was this glowing wonder? Why and how did it glow?
Ten thirty now laying face up on my bed. I start thinking about what had happened to me on the beach. Why did he want the crystal? It probably had something to do with the fact that it glows. Why did I dream about him before I met him? Why won't I just let go of the crystal because I probably am risking my life; oh yeah, it's part of me now and I wont let anyone take it away from me, ever, but what am I getting myself into? Why in my dream was Jay the good guy? Am I still dreaming? I sure hope so, but if I'm not then how do I get myself out of this? Many different thoughts rushed through my mind until I just sunk my head in my pillow and fell into a deep sleep without even noticing.

crystal part five
I tried catching my breath from all the running I had done, so my parents don't see anything fishy about what happened. A normal person would instantly tell their parents about something like that, but I wont because I don't want to freak them out or anything like that. I tuked the crystal in my poket so thay wont see it, ask what it was, or where I got it.
I pushed the door open and enterd as my hads still shiverd. The door shuting sounded behind me when my dad started to speak.
" How was your trip to the beach?" his soothing calm voice asked still looking at the T.V.
" Great" my voice came out of my shivering lips surprisingly calmer than I'd expect.
Mom then turned to switch her look from the T.V. to me. Her always happy expresion atomaticly whent of, and to a worried terrifyed one. "Susan... what... what happend to you?" my mom exclamed getting off the couch, and rushing towords me like a bullet as my dad followed her exact same moves. Mom held my arm closest to her, and Dad grasped my chin with one hand and with the other placed over my eyebrow. As his cold fingers pressed against my forehead, I realized that it stung like crazy.
A small hiss came from behind my teeth and turned into an" ah! aouch! aouch!" I skreeched in pain and stomped my foot against the floor.
" Shhh. Calm down. What happend to you?" he asked worridly. I really couldn't answer because I still cryed in pain. Behind my tears, I could see that my dad's hands where no longer on my face but on my shoulder, so my hands flung on to cover my wound that I guess was from the fall. A pair of delacaid armes wraped around me. That was defenatly my mom because my dad is to strong to have such a weak grip and also because I felt both hands disappear from my sholder and heard him say " I'll get something to stitch that up."
" It's okay sweaty, you'r okay." Mom's sweet voice convinced me to stop weeping. How strange is it that fear can prevent such bad pain. I herd my dad's footsteps on the wooden floor comming twords me.
" Sit her down, Susan." he comanded to my mother. She instantly obayed, sitting me down on the couch that they previousely sat on when they where whatching T.V.
He placed a brown case on the glass desk infront of us, opening it and taking out whatever he needed to stitch me up. I had never been stitched up before, so I guessed my face was in shock." Don't worry, it won't hurt... well the stitching part wont, the shot only a little," he tryed conferting me turning hid body to me placing the shot and other things next to the case. That didn't make me feel any better, but Dad figured that out " it will only hurt for a second or less, and it won't hurt that much." that didn't confort me ether, so he just gave up and got a pair of gloves, and put one on each hand. As he did that he asked again " what happend?" now more concerned than worried.
" Um... I... u... tripped on a rock and fell on a whole bunch of shells..." my voice mumbled hoping they wouldn't ask anymore questions causing me to reaveal the story.
"How... did you trip?" Mom now seemed concerned.
" It's dark..." as I started to speak I realized, looking at the clock, it was already after seven "and I didn't whant to get here after seven." Im starting to be a pretty good lier.
" Ah, I see." that convinced her.

crystal part four
"Hello sir, um...do you happen to know the way to the beach?" I asked kindly. He looked at me with beautiful blue eyes that glittered in the late sunset light.
"Yeah, down this road, and to the next turn to the right. Then you keep on going straight." The guy said pointing towards where I was supposed to go.
"Alright, thanks" I replied, and led to where he told me to go.
I sat on a bench in the beach as the wind blew on my hair and the palm trees behind me, letting my gold locks and the leaves move lightly in the same direction. The dark blue waves, like the night sky, crashed on the shore, making the sand clinch under the calm watter. The sand looked dark gray because of the dark night. I could smell the nature now and it calmed me down, but my mind couldn't get rid of the dream.
Looking at the sea, I noticed that the sunset was gone and the moon was about to rise. Glancing now at the sand, I saw something shining. It looked like a crystal. Might it be unique? The only way to now is to go and check it out. Slowly getting off the bench, I walked about two meters until I was right in front of the thing. I was right, it is a crystal. It shined a pink, lime-green and a white light that was so strong, that I had to close my eyes when I knelled down to get it. My bare knees dug into the soft gray sand. I opened one eye a little to peak when I was going to grab the crystal. My delicate hand automatically wrapped its self around the rock, but the second I touched it, I felt as if a force was going in my hand to my shoulder. I couldn't let go; it didn't let me.... Still trying, I couldn't let go.
The waves started to crash harder on the shore, the wind went out of control, my hair and the leafs of the trees followed the movement of the wind and the sound of peace that used to be there, was now gone, but there was something wrong, I felt as if someone was watching me.... Starting to stand up and turn around, I saw a man standing about five feet away from me. He looked just like the guy from my dream, Jay.

crystal part three
I could hear my breath trying to calm down as i realized it was just a dream. I peaked out the glass wall and the sky was no longer bright, but it was the most beautiful sunset i could ever see. The orange and the yellow blend in perfectly fine, and there was no purple(so no pollution). Maybe I could go to the beach and see the sunset from closer; it will probably calm me down. My eyes glanced at the clothes i was wearing "I cant wear this to go to the beach. I better go change." I thought. I looked to the left towards my closet door: I jumped off the bed-letting the bottom part of the sandals touch the floor, started walking towards the closet and did the same thing I did when I entered my room. As I peaked into the closet, I saw that my closet was dark; I couldn't see anything in there. My hand reached to check if there was a light switch. Lucky me, there was one. After I could see what was in there, I realized how bright the closet was. Almost as big as my room. White marble tiles and white walls. Cloths hung from both walls- the one on the left and the right. There was a drawer in front of me against the wall that I would get to if I just headed forward. Over the drawer was a mirror about a meter long.
I started to walk in, and I headed towards the drawer. My fingers where starting to wrap around the handle and closed into a delicate fist. My hands shivered as I opened the first drawer. I still couldn't get the dream out of my head. Starting to look at the mirror, I wondered why none of the guys back in New York hadn't realized I even existed; I have big brown eyes tiger-like eyes, a nose as if it was surgical made by the best doctor, big naturally pink lips and long layered light-brown hair with natural blond highlights, but I could see fear in my eyes from the dream as the tears started to dry up on my cheek. Taking a deep breath to calm myself down, my head tilted down to see what I could wear. "These shorts might look good." I wondered as I piked them up from the drawer. I did the same thing with a pink top that was folded under the shorts.
I quickly got dressed, and looked at the mirror again. Really, why didn't the guys even know I existed? Probably because I was too quiet and got straight A's. Its not that I was shy, I just couldn't trust anyone back there. If I don't trust someone, I wont talk to them. Besides, they where ether really stuck up or really strange and geeky. I wasn't ether one, so I wouldn't even think of being friends with them. I hope that in my new school, there's normal people.
"Susan, take your guitar up to your room right now!" My mom interrupted shouting from down stairs.
"Alright!" I shouted back so she could hear. I rapidly passed my fingers through my hair so it could look better.I couldn't stop looking at my reflection. Cousin Jane was right, I am self obsessive! Oh well, I guess I have to get used to it. I started to walk backwards heading out the door so that when I got out I would have already stopped looking at my reflection.
I stood outside my room now and I could see that there's a hall that heads to the stairs. I could just walk forward, and I would be on the stairs. There are doors to other rooms on the sides of the hall. My bathroom, my mom's and my dad's office are on the left side of the wall. My parents and the butler's room on the right. The tiles of the hall, white marble just like the ones of my closet. The walls, painted in a really light peach. I started to walk towards the stairs until my feet where at the border of the first step. The tiles of the stairs where also white, but in a different material as marble. The handlebar was made from an extremely polished iron, and under it was sort of like a culosh of many light-see through colors of glass for holding it up; well not really holding it up as much as decoration.
Starting to walk down the stairs, I could see my mom holding up my guitar in one hand and the other on her hip. I look just like her, according to everyone else except for me. Her whole expression was disappointed, but her eyes, which looked tired.
"It was your idea to have a road trip from New York all the way to California, and I was the one driving, so I don't want your things blocking my way, alright?" She complained tiredly. Shes only in a bad mood when shes tired; the rest of the time shes the most caring and happy person you could meet.
"Fine, I'll_"
" Hey everyone!" I herd my dad interrupt me, as the door closed behind him. What a relief; whenever my dads around, she gets in a very good mood. Mom gently put the guitar on the stairs as my dad wrapped his arms around her waste. She turned around still in his arms, and hugged him back. Dad looked huge compared to her. He's a tall, very muscular man. His blond, brushed to the side, hair fell over his forehead, as he tilted his head down to kiss her cheek. I made an inpatient face to show that I was uncomfortable at the moment, but my parents didn't pay any attention to me at that short moment. Well at least now that my mom is in a good mood, I can go to the beach.
I kept on walking down the stairs until I reached the bottom. I slightly moved to the left, so I could dodge my parents while they hugged as if they hadn't seen each other for months, but it was just like an hour or so. They always acted like that. The bottom floor is the den. The tiles are light brown marble, and the walls painted white except for one wall to the left that was also made out of glass, and just like my room, it has curtains, but inst aid of pink, they where white. A black leather couch placed against the glass wall and the wall in front of me. A forty inched plasma was hung on another wall in front of the couch. To the right side of the den, where two other black leather couches next to a bookshelf filled with books. in the middle of the den, is the double red-wood front door waiting to be opened so I could go out to the beach. I headed towards the door and opened it until my dad turned around, and asked something,"Where are you going?" He looked curious now. I faced my mom and she also had the same expression as my dad's. I really hoped that they would let me go. I needed to seriously calm down.
"Um... to... the...um...beach?" I surprisingly asked.
"Do you even know your way there?"
"I can ask for directions..." I advised myself.
"Alright, but don't get lost, and come back before seven." Dad commanded as I got out of the house, and closed the door behind me.
Looking back at my house, I realized that my house was the biggest one in my sight, except for our next-door neighbor's.

crystal part two
To the left of my room was my piano against the concrete wall, and the glass one. next to the piano was a door that I guess would lead me to my closet.
My hand automatically opened, and I dropped the bag on the floor. I stepped right in, ran towards my bed, and jumped on it. It was so comfy, I just fell asleep.
The dream I had was something that I would fear for a long time.
My elbows placed on an open window and I was looking at a man next door with his elbows on a silver Lamborghini. I really couldn't see his features because it was to dark out and besides, it was raining; all I could see of him was that his wet hair covered his eyebrows so it was harder to see the expression. I felt I knew this guy so I was worried of what he was going to do. Suddenly a white flash of light covered my sight, and after a second that that felt longer, Iwas some where else.
I knelled on wet mud staining my favorite PJ's that I didn't noticed I had on. I hid behind some bushes that where the borders of a hotel parking lot and the palm tree forest. I peaked through them and saw that two men where standing face to face next to their cars. The man I had seen before was to the right and another man to the left next to a red Ferrari. I couldn't see him well ether. Both men, about two meters away from each other. The guy on the left started to say something.
"Where is the stone?" he asked confidently and exited.
The man next to the Lamborghini looked down and slightly answered," I... I don't... have it." his voice sounded broken as if he was about to cry in fear. I also suddenly felt fear too; as if I knew what was going to happen, but I really didn't know.
" What do you mean you don't have it?" the other man answered now sounding disappointed. The man next to him hadn't answerd, just kept on looking down, You know exactly what will happen now, right, Jay?" Jay only nodded lightly. I think I knew what was going to happen now; he was going to... kill Jay.... only for a stone? I didn't get it, but I started to shake as the man was getting close to Jay. No! he couldn't!
